How Affiliate Links Work

When you click on a product listing on Homelab Prices, you are redirected to the merchant's website through a tracking link. If you complete a purchase, the merchant pays us a small referral commission. This commission comes from the merchant's marketing budget.

Editorial Independence

We have negotiated affiliate relationships with many of the merchants listed on our site to allow us to better serve our users with price alerts, price history tracking, and other features; however, these relationships do not influence our content or how products are presented. Specifically:

• We do not accept payment to list, prioritize, or promote specific products
• Product rankings and sort order are determined by objective criteria (price, availability, user-selected filters) — never by commission rates
• We list products from merchants with whom we have no affiliate relationship, because comprehensive price comparison is more important to us than commissions
• Affiliate commission rates play no role in which merchants or products appear on our site

Which Links Are Affiliate Links

All outbound product links on Homelab Prices route through our tracking system. This includes:

• Product listing links in browse and search results
• "View Deal" and merchant links on product detail pages
• Links in price drop alerts and email notifications
• Featured deals and homepage product cards

For merchants where we have an affiliate relationship, the tracking link includes affiliate parameters. For merchants without an affiliate relationship, the link still passes through our system for analytics purposes but contains no affiliate code.

Homelab Prices is free to use. Affiliate commissions are our primary source of revenue and allow us to:

• Cover hosting, development, and operational costs
• Add support for more merchants and product categories
